To assist you with your selection, we have divided all icons on the web site into three broad price price categories:
Antique Icons Under $5,000 - in this category you will usually find ca. mid 19th- early 20th century smaller family icons of common subjects by Provincial or Central and Northern Russian masters, sometimes in brass or plain silver oklads as well as less rare Greek Icons.
Antique Icons Between $5,000 and $15,000 - here you will find scarce subjects ca. 18th-19th century Russian icons and / or by well known icon schools of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Mstera or Palekh, sometimes large Church icons or icons in fancy silver oklads.
Antique Icons Over $15,000 - here you will find important museum quality early Russian icons in any size or high-end Palekh and Mstera school icons, sometimes in silver or silver and enamel oklads, frequently with major auction provenance and/or museum expert authentication.
