Oval silver glass-fronted reliquary theca housing precious first-class relics of Saint Anthony of Padua. Substantial relic is affixed to a red silk background decorated with silver wire ornamentation. The precious relic is identified on a manuscript paper cedula label as S. Anthonii P. (St. Anthony of Padua). On the back, the theca is secured with a preserved seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of Monsignor Giulio Maria della Somaglia (†1830), Cardinal-Priest of Santa Sabina (mother church of the Dominican order), Papal Vicar General, and Prefect of the Congregation of Sacred Rites. The relic is accompanied by an original matching authentics document issued and signed by Monsignor della Somaglia in 1796.
