1978 Documented theca with relic of Carmelite St. Teresa Margaret of the Sacred Heart

Round yellow-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca housing first-class ex pulvere corporis  (of the bodily dust) relic of St. Teresa Margaret of the Sacred Heart, O.C.D. . The relic is affixed to a red velvet ground surrounded by silver wire ornamentation and identified in Latin on typeset cedula label as De Pulv. Corp. S. Ther. Marg. A Coe. Jesu. V. (of the bodily ashes of St. Teresa Margaret of the Sacred Heart, Virgin).  On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of the Brothers of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel (the Carmelites). The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued in 1978 by the Postulator General of the Order.

Saint Teresa Margaret of the Sacred Heart, O.C.D. (†1770) was an Italian Discalced Carmelite nun who, during her brief life of quiet service in the monastery, came to be revered for her mystical gifts. She was Beatified in 1929 by Pope Pius XI and Canonized in 1934 by Pope Pius XI. Teresa Margaret is one of seven Discalced Carmelite nuns to have been declared saints. The other six are: Saints Teresa of Avila, Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, Teresa of Los Andes, Elizabeth of the Trinity, Thérèse of Lisieux, and Mariam Baouardy. Her Feast is celebrated on September 1.
