Russian Icon - The Crucifixion of Christ

Christ is depicted on the cross flanked by mourning-Virgin Mary and St. Martha the left side; and on the right side : St. John the Theologian and St. Martyr Longinus the Centurion. Behind Christ are the towers of Jerusalem and above him is God the Father. Two family saints are depicted on vertical borders.
