I received my shipment of relics today, and wanted to thank you. They are BEAUTIFUL. And the certificates are beautiful too. Thank you for carefully packaging everything with such care (relics in a wooden treasure box and certificates in clear plastic). The relic came in. I wanted to cry. My heart was so overwhelmed with joy. On my 25th anniversary the Discalsed Monastery celebrated mass with me in their cloister. The Mother Prioress with the sisters came be a hard bound copy of his writings and his life. I feel it was the hand of Blessed Francisco was moving them. And with this holy relic he is moving me. I will do a more intensive study of him. I will place his relic in the large reliquary I have with John of the Cross, Teresa of Avila, and Therese of Liseaux. He will be at home.

17th century Greek triptych of Holy Greatmartyr Demetrius of Thessaloniki with Archangels Michael & Gabriel

The triptych is executed on gold ground depicting in the central panel Holy Greatmartyr Demetrius on horseback dressed as a Roman soldier striking Satan underneath with walls of Thessaloniki behind them. The image is flanked on side panels by the full-figured depictions of Archangels Michael and Gabriel. The side panels close to a carved depiction of a double-headed Byzantine eagle.
