Реликварий с мощами святого Андрея Первозванного, Апостола

Late 18th century oval glass-fronted silver reliquary theca housing precious relic of Saint Andrew, the Apostle. The relic is affixed to a multicolor silk background decorated with golden paperolle and silver cord ornamentation and identified on a manuscript cedula label as S. Andreae Apost. (Saint Andrew Apostle). On the back the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax with a coat of arms of Cardinal Marcantonio Colonna (†1793), Archpriest of the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and Vicar General of the Roman Curia, indicating direct Papal gift from the Vatican.
