The relic came in. I wanted to cry. My heart was so overwhelmed with joy. On my 25th anniversary the Discalsed Monastery celebrated mass with me in their cloister. The Mother Prioress with the sisters came be a hard bound copy of his writings and his life. I feel it was the hand of Blessed Francisco was moving them. And with this holy relic he is moving me. I will do a more intensive study of him. I will place his relic in the large reliquary I have with John of the Cross, Teresa of Avila, and Therese of Liseaux. He will be at home.

Documented theca with relics of St. Peter, Apostle of the Apostles

Oval silver crystal-fronted theca housing substantial first-class ex ossibus relic of Saint Peter, the Apostle. The relic is affixed to a silk background and identified on a manuscript cedula label as S. Petri Ap. (Saint Peter, Apostle). On the back, the theca is secured by a seal of red Spanish wax with an imprint of a coat of arms of Giorgio Maria de Lascaris C.R. (†1795), Titular Patriarch of Jerusalem (1762-1795) and consultant to the Congregation for Indulgences and Sacred Relics in the Roman Curia responsible he task of managing the granting of authentication to the relics. The theca is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued and hand-signed by Patriarch de Lascaris in 1764,

Saint Peter († between AD 64 and 68), was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ, leaders of the early Christian Church. He is also venerated as the "Apostle of the Apostles" and the first pope of the Roman Catholic Church, ordained by Jesus in the "Rock of My Church" dialogue in Matthew 16:18. The Christian churches all venerate Peter as a major saint and associate him with founding the Church of Antioch and later the Church in Rome. The Roman Martyrology assigns 29 June as the feast day of both Apostles Peter and Paul.
