I received my shipment of relics today, and wanted to thank you. They are BEAUTIFUL. And the certificates are beautiful too. Thank you for carefully packaging everything with such care (relics in a wooden treasure box and certificates in clear plastic). These relics are indeed a treasure and will be honored tonight when I pray vespers. I will be definitely be looking to buy more relics from the Russian Store in the future.

I received the very beautiful Entombment icon on Good Friday. Our priest carried it in the procession with The Holy Shroud. It was a great blessing and especially to receive it on Good Friday and take to the church in perfect timing. Thank You again and again ?? for the holy icons!!

1872 Documented theca with a rare first class relic of St. John the Baptist (the Forerunner)

Oval silvered brass glass-fronted reliquary theca housing precious first-class ex costula (from the rib) relics of Saint John the Baptist. A substantial relic is affixed to a gilt paper burst on red silk background decorated with gilt silver wire ornamentation. The precious relic is identified on a fancy manuscript paper cedula label as De Costula S. Joan Bapt. (from the rib of St. John the Baptist). On the back, the theca is secured with a perfectly-preserved seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of Monsignor Salvadore Magnasco († 1892), the Archbishop of Genoa (1871-1892). The relic is accompanied by an original matching authentics document issued and signed by Monsignor Magnasco in 1872.
