1986 Documented reliquary theca with first-class relics of Blessed Bienheureuse Marie-Thérèse de Soubiran, foundress of Sisters of Marie-Auxiliatrice

Oval yellow-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca decorated around the perimeter with crystals (one is missing) housing the first-class ex carne  (of the flesh) relic of the Blessed Bienheureuse Marie-Thérèse de Soubiran. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on typeset cedula label as Ba. M. T. de Soubiran. (Blessed Bienheureuse Marie-Thérèse de Soubiran).  On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of Fr. Jean François Marie Streiff (†1999), Bishop of Nevers (1966–1987). The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued and sealed in 1986 by Fr. Streiff.

Blessed Marie-Thérèse of Soubiran La Louvière (†1893) was a French Roman Catholic nun who established the Sisters of Marie-Auxiliatrice, a religious institute of the pontifical right whose members profess public vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience and follow the evangelical way of life in common. She adopted the name of Marie of the Sacred Heart in 1877 after she had become a nun. When she died on 7 June 1889, her last words were: "Come, Lord Jesus, come!" Her beatification process started in Paris in 1934 under Pope Pius XI which granted her the title of Servant of God. Pope Pius XII conferred upon her the title of Venerable in 1940 after the recognition of her life of heroic virtue. Two miracles attributed to her were approved in 1945 and Pius XII beatified her in 1946.
