Important theca with the relics of Saint Paschal Baylon and four other Catholic Saints

Large oval glass-fronted brass reliquary theca, containing first class ex ossibus (of the bone) relics of several important saints centered around relic and painted on porcelain portrait of Saint Paschal Baylon, known as the "Seraph of the Eucharist." The relics are titled on a paper cedula as S.Paschalys Baylon/S.Luciae V./S.Ant.Pad./S.Purpurae M/S.Jo.Jos. Back of the theca is secured by a perfecty preserved seal of red Spanish wax with a coat of arms of Archbishop of Naples.

Saint Paschal Baylon (†1592) was a Spanish friar and is a saint in the Roman Catholic Church. He is the patron saint of Eucharistic congresses and Eucharistic associations.

St. Lucia of Syracuse (†304), also known as Saint Lucy, or Saint Lucia (Italian: Santa Lucia), was a young Christian martyr who died during the Diocletianic Persecution. She is venerated as a saint by the Roman Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, and Orthodox Churches. She is one of eight women, who along with the Blessed Virgin Mary, are commemorated by name in the Canon of the Mass. Saint Anthony of Padua († 1231) also known as Anthony of Lisbon, was a Portuguese Catholic priest and friar of the Franciscan Order.
