Saint Marie-Léonie Paradis, PSSF was a French-Canadian religious sister. Raised in a poor, devout family, she joined the Marianite Sisters of Holy Cross at 14, taking the name Marie de Sainte-Léonie. She taught in Montreal, New York, and Indiana before founding the Little Sisters of the Holy Family in 1880 in New Brunswick to support priests and education. Despite frail health, she led the congregation, which grew across Canada and beyond. She was beatified in 1984 and canonized on October 20, 2024. Her feast day is celebrated on May 4.

Small round glass-fronted white-metal reliquary theca housing the first-class ex ossibus (of the bone) pre-canonization relic of St. Marie-Léonie Paradis. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as B. Marie- Leonis (Blessed Marie-Léonie). On the back, under the protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Congregation of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued and signed on September 11, 1984 (the very day of her beatification) by the Postulator General of the Order responsible for the cause of beatification and canonization.
