The icon depicts Christ as Pantocrator ( "Almighty" or "All-powerful") - pictured half-figured blessing with his right hand while holding an Orb and a Cross in his left hand. It is covered by ornate silvered brass oklad revetment cover with separately attached multirayed halo. The icon retained its original purple cloth backing.
