Russian Icon - Great Orthodox Feasts with Anastasis

The icon depictes twelve principal feasts of the Orthodox church painted on the top and side registers and centered around Christ's Resurrection and Descent into the Hades. The Feasts are (from the top left corner - clockwise): the Nativity of The Virgin, Presentation of Mary at the Temple, the Annunciation,  the Nativity of Christ, the Baptism of Christ, the Transfiguration of Christ,  Entrance into Jerusalem,  the Erection of the Cross, the Dormition Mother of God,  the Transfiguration of Christ, the Old Testament Trinity, the Ascension of Christ, and Presentation of Christ at the Temple.
