Saint Francis de Sales, CO OM OFM Cap. (French: François de Sales; †1622) was a Bishop of Geneva and is honored as a saint in the Roman Catholic Church. He became noted for his deep faith and his gentle approach to the religious divisions in his land resulting from the Protestant Reformation.

Round glass-fronted silvered metal reliquary theca housing ex ossibus (of the bone) relic of Saint Francis de Sales. The relic is identified on a paper cedula as S. Francisci Sal. The theca is secured on the back with a seal of red Spanish wax with inprint of a coat of arms of a Catholic Bishop.
