1989 Documented reliquary theca with relics of the Blessed Maria Margherita Caiani, founder of the Minim Sisters of the Sacred Heart

Small round white-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca affixed to a heavy bronze fancy-shaped medallion and housing the first-class ex corpore  (of the body) relic of the Blessed Maria Caiani. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as B. Margh. Caiani (the Blessed Maria Caiani). The relic is accompanied by an original matching authentics document issued and sealed by the Postulator General of the Order on 23 April 1989 (on the day of Her beatification) and comes in the original case of the issue.

Blessed Maria Caiani (†1921) was an Italian Roman Catholic nun from Florence who established the Minim Sisters of the Sacred Heart in 1902. Caiani assumed the religious name of "Maria Margherita of the Sacred Heart" in 1902 after she professed into her new congregation that was devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. She was beatified by Pope John Paul II on 23 April 1989.
