1986 Documented reliquary theca with relics of the Blessed Teresa Maria Manetti (of the Cross), founder of the Carmelite Sisters of Saint Teresa

Round glass-fronted white-metal reliquary theca housing the first-class ex ossibus (of the bone) relic of the Blessed Teresa Maria Manetti (of the Cross). The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as B. Ter. M. a Cruce (the Blessed Teresa Maria of the Cross). On the back, under the protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of the Discalced Brothers of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel (commonly known as the Discalced Carmelites). The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued on 19 October 1986 (the very day of her beatification) by the Postulator General of the Order.

Blessed Teresa Maria Manetti (†1910) was an Italian Roman Catholic religious sister who took the religious name of Teresa Maria of the Cross when she became a member of the Third Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. She founded the Carmelite Sisters of Saint Teresa with the mission to teach children, with an emphasis on orphans. Schools eventually opened in Syria and Palestine after Pope Pius X granted the approval. She was beatified on 19 October 1986 by Pope John Paul II.
