Large glass-fronted silver reliquary theca dating to the 19th-century and housing relics of five important saints arranged below of the particles from the Wood of the True Cross of Jesus Christ arranged in a cruciform shape. The theca contains relics of the following saints: Saint Pope Pius V; Saint Charles Borromeo, Archbishop of Milan; Saint Camillus de Lellis, Saint Peregrine Laziosi, and large ex dentis (of the tooth) relic of Saint Martyress Martha of Rome (of Persia). The relics are affixed to a red silk background decorated with shape of the cross and three silver cherubs and identified on elaborate multi-colorpaper cedulae labels. On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a perfectly preserved seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of a Catholic Bishop.
