Documented reliquary theca with relics of the Blessed Maria Enrichetta Dominici

Round yellow-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca housing first-class ex ossibus  (of the bone) relics of Blessed Maria Enrichetta Dominici. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on typeset cedula label as B. Henricae Dominici (the Blessed Enrichetta Dominici).  On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of Friars Minor (better known as the Franciscan Friars). The relic is accompanied by an original matching authentics document issued and sealed by the Postulator General of the Redemptorists on May 7th, 1978, the day of her beatification. 

Blessed Maria Enrichetta Dominici (†1894) was an Italian Roman Catholic nun of the Sisters of Saint Anne. During the 1854 Broad Street cholera outbreak, she cared for and ministered to countless people. She then went on to serve for over three decades as the Superior General of her congregation and was a friend and adviser to John Bosco. She was beatified on May 7th, 1978 by Pope Paul VI, and her cause for canonization is open and ongoing. her feast is celebrated on 21 February.
