1975 Documented reliquary theca with relics of the Blessed Columba of Rieti, O.S.D. invoked against sorcery & temptation

Round yellow-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca housing first-class ex ossibus  (of the bone) relics of the Blessed Columba of Rieti, O.S.D. The relic is affixed to a pink silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as B. Columb. a Reat. V. O. P. (Blessed Columba of Rieti, Virgin, the Order of Preachers )  On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of Friars Preachers (better known as the Dominicans). The relic is accompanied by an original matching authentics document issued and sealed by the Postulator General of the Order on November 15, 1995 - 5 days before His Beatification.

Blessed Columba of Rieti, O.S.D., (2 February 1467 – 20 May 1501) was an Italian religious sister of the Third Order of St. Dominic who was noted as a mystic. She was renowned for her spiritual counsel, devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, and fantastic miracles were attributed to her. She was beatified on 25 February 1625 by Pope Urban VIII, and her feast day is celebrated within the Dominican Order on the anniversary of her death. She is invoked against sorcery and temptation.
