Saint Joseph of Cupertino, O.F.M. Conv. (†1663) was an Italian Conventual Franciscan friar who is honored as a Christian mystic and saint. He was said to have been remarkably unclever, but prone to miraculous levitation and intense ecstatic visions that left him gaping. He is a patron of The City of Osimo, aviation, astronauts, mental handicaps, test-taking, and students.

Round yellow-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca housing the first-class ex ossibus (of the bone) relic of Saint Joseph of Cupertino. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as Ex ossibus / S. Josephi a Cup. (of the bone of Saint Joseph of Cupertino). On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual (OFM Conv), commonly known as the Conventual Franciscans. The relic is accompanied by an original matching authentics document issued by the Postulator General of the Order on 17 November 1990.
