Theca with a second class ex veste relic of Saint Andrew Avellino

Glass-fronted silver reliquary theca housing ex veste (of the dress) relic of Saint Andrew Avellino. The relic is identified on a paper cedula as Ex Veste S. Andreae Avel. The theca is secured on the back with a seal of red Spanish wax with inprint of a coat of arms of a Catholic Bishop. 

Saint Andrew Avellino († 1608) was an Italian saint. Born at Castronuovo, a small town in the province of Potenza Basilicata, his baptismal name was Lancelotto, which out of love for the cross he changed into Andrew when he entered the Order of Theatines. He is a patron of Naples, Sicily, and invoked against sudden death.
