Round glass-fronted yellow-metal reliquary theca housing the first-class ex corpore (of the body) relic of Blessed María López de Rivas (Mary of Jesus Crucified). The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as B. Maria a J. Crucifixo (Blessed Mary of Jesus Crucified). On the back, under the protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Discalced Carmelites Order. The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued and signed on November 14, 1976 (the very day of her beatification) by the Postulator General of the Order responsible for the cause of beatification and canonization.
