Oval glass-fronted silveed metal pendant reliquary theca housing relics of three Saints: the first-class ex ossibus (of a bone) relic of Saint Anne, Mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the second class ex veste (of the vestment) relic of Saint Andrew Avellino, and the first-class ex ossibus (of a bone) relic of Saint Francis of Paola. A relics are affixed to the silk ground surrounded by gilt paperolle and silver wire ornamentation and identified in Latin on a manuscript cedulae labels as S. Annae M. B.V.M. //  S. Andreae Av. // S. Frac. de Pa. (Saint Anne, Mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Andrew Avellino, Saint Francis of Paola).  On the back, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of Father Aloysius Sanvitale, Bishop of Parma. The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued and sealed by the order of Bishop Sanvitale in 1832.

Saint Anne was the mother of Mary and grandmother of Jesus according to apocryphal Christian and Islamic tradition. She is a holy patron of Canada, carpenters; childless people; equestrians; grandparents; homemakers/housewives; lacemakers; lost articles; Fasnia (Tenerife); Mainar; Detroit; miners; mothers; moving house; old-clothes dealers; poverty; pregnancy; seamstresses; stablemen; sterility; mothers; and children.

Saint Andrew Avellino († 1608) was an Italian Theatine priest who led a life busy in preaching, hearing confessions, visiting the sick, and writing. Born at Castronuovo, a small town in the province of Potenza Basilicata, his baptismal name was Lancelotto, which out of love for the cross he changed into Andrew when he entered the Order of Theatines. He was so successful in converting sinners and heretics by his prudence in the direction of souls and by his eloquent preaching, that numerous disciples thronged around him, eager to be under his spiritual guidance. He is a patron of Naples, Sicily, and invoked against sudden death.

Saint Francis of Paola, O.M. (Francesco di Paola)(†1507) was an Italian mendicant friar and the founder of the Roman Catholic Order of Minims. The two major movements in this order were humility and non-violence. The word "Minim" refers to living as the smallest or least, or embracing humility, simplicity, and plainness. The call to non-violence and absence of cruelty was expressed through veganism and not doing harm to any creature. He is a patron saint of vegetarians, boatmen, mariners, and naval officers.
